$1.3 Million American Pharoah Colt Sets Pace Keeneland Day 3

The third and final session of Book 1 at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale is underway with a colt by Coolmore's Triple Crown hero American Pharaoh setting the rarely pace at $1,3milion.

American Pharoah colt from EscampetteConsigned by Hunter Valley Farm, the colt from Smart Strike mare Escampette was secured by Jamie McCalmont on behalf of MV Magnier. Click here to see his pedigree.

He was a successful pinhook for Hunter Valley Farm, which had purchased the colt for $340,000 at the 2018 Keeneland November Breedindg Stock Sale and consigned him to the September sale.

The first Australian bred American Pharoah yearlings will be offered at our sales in 2020.
