was sold to Hong Kong, exciting gelding Just Thinkin' resumed from a spell at
Warwick Farm on Wednesday and scored a powerful length and a quarter win in the
1300 metre maiden.Entered for the Group I MRC Caulfield Guineas, longer races are on the agenda for Just Thinkin', who is a three-quarter brother to Group III ATC Gloaming Stakes winner Thinkin' Big and also Group III winner Stampede.
"He's a really impressive horse and an exciting one going forward," said Adrian Bott.
"Gelding has been the real key to him taking shape as he's just that bit heavier than his brother, although they are very similar in attitude and ability.
"He'll follow a similar path now to what Thinkin' Big did as we head towards the Spring champion Stakes and Victoria Derby."
Retained to race by his breeder Peter Dunn of Dodmark Thoroughbreds, Just Thinkin' is the third winner from three foals to race from Group I placed Tale of the Cat (USA) mare Nothin' Leica Cat.
Nothin' Leica Cat has a yearling colt by American Pharoah (USA) and is back in foal to the Triple Crown winner, who stands at Coolmore at a fee of $66,000.
