Golden Rose Order of Entry

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday August 27
The first official Order of Entry has been released for next month's $1 million Group I ATC Golden Rose, but with several of the horses at the top of the list unlikely to contest the race there's plenty of interest in those further down the order.

Bivouac is a Golden Rose contender for GodolphinGodophin have multiple horses to choose from for their tilt at Golden Rose success although Golden Slipper winner Kiamichi is not expected to contest the 1400m race and nor is her stablemate and Golden Slipper runner-up Microphone, which is third in the list.

The main movers in the past two weeks of racing have been more members of Godolphin's strong group of three-year-olds with Exhilarates and Bivouac both resuming from winter spells to win in sensational style.

Gogolphin have a great record in the race having produced past winners Denman, Epaulette, Astern and Exosphere.

Also looking ominous the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained colt Dawn Passage, winner of the Listed ATC Rosebud.

Super impressive filly Libertini is not entered for the Golden Rose so connections would need to pay a $50,00 late entry fee to put her into the race.
