Where the early money has gone for 2017 Hawkesbury Rowley Mile day

The $150,000 Listed Aristocrat Technologies Hawkesbury Rowley Mile (1600m) has a red-hot favourite engaged and there has also been plenty of betting action on the support card.

It's Rowley Mile day at Hawkesbury.

The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained Arbeitsam is an odds-on elect in the feature event, holding his mark at $1.60, but it's a David Pfieffer-trained runner attracting interest from punters.

There has also been a big go for a Godolphin-owned runner in the second race on the eight-event program.

A three-year-old from the Waterhouse and Bott yard has also been the subject of heavy support in race four – the Philon 3YO Maiden Handicap (1000m).

Below are the best-backed runners leading into Thursday's Hawkesbury meeting. Odds as at 10.45am (AET) on Thursday with the first race scheduled to jump at 12.50pm.
