Toronado stock firing in the UK

Mrs Bouquet has highlighted the toughness of the Toronado stock with two wins in four days in the UK.

ToronadoMrs Bouquet won the St Teresa's Hospice Fillies Nursery at Catterick last Wednesday then followed up at York on Saturday with victory in the Garbutt & Elliott Nursery.

Trained by Mark Johnston, Mrs Bouquet has won three of her five starts.

On Tuesday at Nottingham Al Messila (3 f Toronado - Rose Blossom) made it two wins on end when proving too good for Polyphony in the Mansionbet Fillies Handicap (1m1/2f) at Nottingham.

Group I Queen Anne Stakes winner Toronado (High Chaparral) shuttles to Swettenham Stud in Victoria where his fee in 2019 is advertised at $27,500 with his oldest Australian offspring two-year-olds headed by the Showdown 2YO Plate winner Prince Of Sussex.
