Floki was sent out the $1.28 favourite off the back of his 8-3/4 length dismantling of a maiden field at Scone on August 8 after tracking three wide throughout.

Pre-race Smith indicated the Sky Racing that wanted to ride Floki with cover to teach the horse something with a view to longer races in the future but things went horribly wrong in the straight.

Floki, whose rider Josh Adams wore the navy blue silks with a white band and armbands and a red cap, was pocketed behind the leader Oakfield Time and back to the inside of Final Frontier.

We'll let the footage tell the rest of the story.

And here's the head-on footage.

No protests were lodged leaving the stewards' to declare correct weight.

Oakfield Time ($9.50) defeated Final Frontier ($4.40) by a long-head with Floki a further 2-1/4 lengths away in third.
