Talented Australian 2YO Sansom scored a decisive win at Pakenham in Victoria on Friday evening to preface a 2YO weekend-winning double for his sire Charm Spirit (Invincible Spirit) whose daughter Intimidate was successful the following day at Riccarton.

Sansom is held in high regard by connections and will be given the opportunity to make his way through the grades by his Melbourne trainer Phillip Stokes as he heads towards loftier Spring assignments.

In addition, Charm Spirit's first crop includes leading Gr.2 winning and multiple Gr.1 placed filly Aretha, recent stakes performer Jager Bombed and impressive Trentham winner Platinum Spirit to provide him with numerous exciting 3YO prospects for next Spring

A Gr.1 performed two-year-old, Charm Spirit was a world class 3YO miler with successive 1600m Gr.1 victories in the Prix Jean Prat at Chantilly, Prix du Moulin de Longchamp and Ascot Queen Elizabeth 11 Stakes.
