Widden Stud's Zoustar was the dominant force at the Inglis Great Southern Weanling Sale in Victoria this week finishing as leading sire by aggregate and average as well as siring the equal highest priced colt and top priced filly, while young guns Capitalist and Extreme Choice also made their mark.

Zoustar was the dominating force at Inglis Great SouthernZoustar's eight weanlings sold for $1,116,000 at an average $139,500.

His top seller was a colt from proven producer Morwell that made $250,000 for Merrivale Farm when bought by J Wheeler/ Jason Warren Racing Stables.

"To come here and top the sale with a beautiful colt who had so many parades and so many appreciative viewers is wonderful," said Jen Fowler of Merrivale Farm.
