Tara Madgwick - Tuesday June 11
The proof of success of any thoroughbred venture ultimately comes from the racetrack and boutique Victorian based Two Bays Farm has a growing list of winning graduates that reflects their commitment to producing top quality racehorses such as Military Zone and Kubrick.

The recent Brisbane Winter Carnival has highlighted the growing achievements ofTwo Bays Farm.

Multiple SW Military Zone was bred and sold by Two Bays FarmThe Peter and Paul Snowden trained three year-old Military Zone has been super consistent this season and put the icing on the cake of a very successful preparation when winning the Group III BRC Fred Best Classic in record time.

Already a winner of the Group III Hawkesbury Guineas and Listed Gosford Guineas, the son of Epaulette has won five of 10 starts earning over $460,000 in prizemoney providing a sensational return for his big group of Triple Crown Syndications owners.

Bred by Two Bays Farm, Military Zone was sold in their draft at the Inglis Great Southern Weanling Sale for $140,000 and then re-offered by Three Bridges Thoroughbreds at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale where he was bought by Triple Crown for the same money.

"It's all about teamwork in this industry and Military Zone is a great example of collective teamwork amongst farms," said Robert Carlile of Two Bays Farm.

"Three Bridges did a great job with Military Zone after purchasing him from us as a weanling, then having the success they did so both farms get a significant credit when an outcome like this is achieved."

Two Bays Farm have just had their most successful two year-old season with two juvenile winners in Kubrick and Luff as well as city placed I Am Eloquent from a small crop of just seven foals.

Two Bays Farm bred and sold Kubrick looks a potential spring starBred and sold by Two Bays Farm, Kubrick fetched $250,000 at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale when knocked down to Star Thoroughbreds.

The Chris Waller trained son of Shooting to Win won his first two starts at Cranbourne and Rosehill before going down by a head when second in the Group I BRC JJ Atkins Plate last Saturday.

Kubrick has won over $200,000 from just three starts and looms as a bright prospect for the spring.

Older horses have also added to the run of success enjoyed by Two Bays with talented four year-old sprinter Easy Eddie winning the Group III ATC Maurice McCarten Stakes and placing third in the Group I ATC The Galaxy for the Joe Pride stable.

Easy Eddie is another SW this season sold by Two Bays FarmSold by Two Bays Farm on behalf of very good clients Hill Holme Lodge for $55,000 at Inglis Premier to Pride Racing, Easy Eddie has won eight of 23 starts earning over $500,000 in prizemoney and is the lone Australian stakes-winner for his sire Super Easy, the Singapore Horse of the Year in 2012.

Another smart Two Bays Farm bred and sold runner this season is three year-old Unencumbered filly Lady Sass, who was a good fourth in the Group II WATC Derby after an unlucky run in the Group III WATC Oaks when she was impeded by a fallen runner.

These impressive early results indicate the planning and hard work of Rob Carlile and his dedicated team are paying off in spades.
