Bloodstockauction.com’s Stallion Cover Charity Auction is on again

Media Release - Wednesday June 5
It's that time of year again! As the breeding season approaches, so does Bloodstockauction, com's annual Stallion Cover Charity Auction supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities, which will run from the 1st-6th of August 2019.

Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney now has a larger house, capable of providing a home-away-from-home for 60 regional families with seriously ill children, only a stone's throw from The Children's Hospital in Westmead.

Belinda Woolford, Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney CEO, said "While it is extremely positive to be able to support more families in the new house, it also means that we have higher operating costs for the charity. Initiatives like the Bloodstockauction's Charity Auction make it possible for us to support as many families as possible when they are in most need."

Bloodstockauction.com was fortunate enough last year to have over 70 covers donated, which helped raise more than $100,000 to support families with sick children and would love your help in supporting this worth cause and making this year's auction bigger and better.

There are two ways that you can help make a difference.

The first is to donate a stallion cover to be auctioned off in their 6th August 2019 auction. They are fully aware that there are costs that studs need to cover, and for this reason studs have the option to donate 50% or 100% of the total sale proceeds to Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney.

What if you don't have a stallion cover to donate? Not a problem, the second way that you can make a difference is to bid on and purchase one of the many fantastic covers that are sure to be up for auction.

So, if you are on the lookout for a covering sire, set yourself a reminder, purchase a cover in the auction, and really make a difference to a family with a sick child. Become a member today – it's free – or call one of their friendly staff on 1300 849 349 and help make a difference.
