Widden Present Glamour Girls

Tara Madgwick - Friday May 24
Few horses have captured the glittering, spine tingling thrill of the Magic Millions dream better than former star filly Global Glamour, who will return to the Gold Coast sale ring this week to be offered in the 2019 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale.

Global Glamour is offered in foal to ZoustarBought from the Magic Millions Yearling Sale in 2015 by renowned bloodstock agent James Bester for the It's All About the Girls Syndicate, Global Glamour quickly proved herself on the track for the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott stable.

The daughter of Star Witness won her debut as a two year-old by six lengths and then shot to fame as a spring three year-old capturing the rare Group I double of ATC Flight Stakes (1600m) and MRC Thousand Guineas (1600m) for her adoring group of high profile all women owners.

Retired last year with the overall record of five wins and six placings from 19 starts with prizemoney topping $1.5 million, Global Glamour was covered by leading young stallion Zoustar in her first season at stud and will be offered by Widden Stud as Lot 1219.
