Stallion Nominations to Support Tye Angland

A number of Australia's leading studs have united to support injured jockey Tye Angland with an outstanding line up of stallion nominations to go under the hammer at next week's Magic Millions Gold Coast National Broodmare Sale.

CapitalistThe seven nominations are a part of the soon to be released supplementary catalogue and will be sold at the conclusion of selling on Day One of the National Broodmare Sale on May 28 with 100% of proceeds donated to Angland.

Six of the seven stallions represented have advertised fees totalling almost $200,000 giving breeders an incredible opportunity to breed to the best and support one of the industry's favourite sons.

"Magic Millions appreciates thegoodwill and generosityfrom across the industry uniting in their support of Tye,"Managing Director Barry Bowditch said.

"A champion in and out of the saddle, Tye is a great friend of Magic Millions and always gives his time to help promote the industry."

Details of the stallion nominations are as follows:

  • Lot 1896 - Capitalist (Written Tycoon-Kitalpha)
    Golden Slipper winner and Champion 2YO of Australia
    Standing his third season this spring- served 461 mares in first two seasons

  • Lot 1897 - Dundeel (High Chaparral-Stareel)
    Champion 3YO and six time Group One winner
    Sire of Group One winners Atyaab, Castelvecchio and Yourdeel

  • Lot 1898 - Encryption (Lonhro-Guelph)
    Group winning 2 & 3YO, 2nd Oakleigh Plate G1 at 3
    Retiring soon to stand first season in Queensland this spring

  • Lot 1899 - Hellbent (I Am Invincible-Volkaspray)
    Group One William Reid Stakes winner

The purchaser of each nomination is entitled to one service for the 2019 breeding season. All nominations carry a free return subject to the terms and conditions of the stallion agreement. All nominations are sold with no GST.
