Menari Headed Back to Stud

Media Release - Sunday May 12

Exceptional sprinter Menari will re-enter stud at Newgate in 2019 as it was determined to be in his best interest after he re-injured his suspensory after a piece of work at Rosehill late last week.

Menari Trainer Gerald Ryan commented, "I'm devastated that Menari gone amiss, as I honestly feel he could have won The Everest.

"He is one of the most talented horses I have ever had anything to do with. I've said it before and I'll say it again…he is just something different this horse."

"Menari obviously has machine-like talent, is by the Champion sire and hails from the famous Corumbene stud pedigree," said Newgate's Henry Field.

"We will be doing everything under the sun to manage Menari's fertility in 2019 and at a fee of $15,000 + GST he represents phenomenal value."

Menari will be limited to very few outside bookings, please call the Team at Newgate at your earliest convenience if you are considering booking a mare to him this breeding season.
