Eurozone Welcomed at Bellereve Stud

Media Release - Monday May 6
Quality Northern Meteor stallion Eurozone has been in hot form this year siring two stakes-winners in Krone and Mystery Love, so is an exciting new addition at Bellereve Stud near Canberra.

Best known as the sire of smart Group II placed stakes-winner Krone, who this year Eurozone won the Listed ATC Darby Munro Quality, and undefeated $150,000 Bendigo Guineas winner Mystery Love, Eurozone is a handsome individual representing one of the most exciting sire lines in the country.

His sire Northern Meteor is also responsible for Champion First and Second Season sire Zoustar, who stands at a fee of $154,000 and up and coming young sires Deep Field and Shooting to Win, not to mention Fighting Sun, who has also left a stakes-winner with his oldest progeny just three year-olds.

Completely free of Danehill blood, Eurozone is an attractive horse on pedigree to suit a wide variety of mares and his race record is a great testament to his quality.

Undefeated in two starts as a juvenile, Eurozone raced in elite company at three winning the Group II ATC Stan Fox Stakes (1400m) and earning Group I placings in the MRC CF Orr Stakes and ATC Randwick Guineas.

"After the unfortunate passing of Zariz recently we believe the area is in need of a stallion of this quality. Eurozone is a proven source of stakes-winners highlighted by his Black Type fillies Krone and Mystery Love."

Eurozone will be standing at a fee of $7,700 this spring.
