Yarraman Park Set 2019 Fees

Media Release - Thursday April 25
I Am Invincible has had a truly remarkable 2018/19 season thus far with an impressive 26 individual stakes winners, a phenomenal number that has only ever been reached by the likes of the great Danehill and Snitzel.

Even more importantly the equal-record number is more than double that of his closest rivals - Not a Single Doubt (12) and Snitzel (11).

As a sire I Am Invincible has only gone from strength to strength and is showing no signs of slowing down, in fact, with 4 months still left in the 2018/19 season he looks well placed to exceed the current record.

"Vinnie has had another remarkable season and we are extremely grateful to all the breeders who have continued to support him. He already has an outstanding group of mares booked to him this season and we are looking forward to this years crop of foals," said Arthur Mitchell of Yarraman Park Stud after announcing that for the 2019 season I Am Invincible will stand at a fee of $225,000 (plus GST).

I Am Invincible is the sire of 44 individual stakes winners, including this season's Group One winners (4) Viddora, Voodoo Lad, Oohood and Media Sensation (NZ).

Among his juvenile winners are I Am Immortal - winner of the Ladbrokes Blue Diamond Prelude (Gr3), Catch Me - winner of the Gimcrack Stakes (Gr3) & the Blue Diamond Preview (Gr3), Loving Gaby - winner of the Ladbrokes Chairman's Stakes (Gr3) & twice Gr.1 placed - 2nd in the Inglis Sires' (Gr1) and 2nd in the Moet & Chandon Champagne Stakes (Gr1).

Not forgetting his fillies won three out of the four races in the Darley Princess Series including Oohood winning the ATC Flight Stakes (Gr1) and Fiesta being crowned winner of the Darley Princess Series.

Demand for progeny by I Am Invincible has held strong, with seven yearlings selling for one million dollars or more including Oakleigh Girl ($1,700,000), Captivating Claire ($1,400,000), Tai Tai Tess ($1,300,000), Camporella ($1,200,000), Mrs Boxall ($1,200,000), Champagne Cath ($1,100,000) and Rose of Choice ($1,000,000).

His average yearling price was $410,962 from a service fee of $55,000 (inc GST) giving breeders an average return of 7.45 x the service fee, a huge achievement with 104 yearlings offered this year.

Standing alongside I Am Invincible will be his explosive G1 winning son - Hellbent, whose introductory fee of $27,500 will remain the same for the 2019 season.

"Hellbent covered a superb book of mares last year in his first season at Yarraman and we and his syndicate will continue to support him strongly again this year. We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of his first crop of foals and are absolutely confident they will meet all expectations," said Harry Mitchell.
