Newgate Farm Announce 2019 Fees

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday April 23
Newgate Farm have a top class roster of young stallions in 2019 offering breeders a variety of the very best Australian speed bloodlines across an affordable price range.

Deep Field has had a fee increase to $44,000Our service fees remain predominantly the same as 2019 with the exception of Deep Field, who is rapidly establishing himself as one of the leading sires of two year old stakes winners in Australia this season and is priced at $44,000.

His offspring include brilliant Group III winner and Golden Slipper favourite Cosmic Force as well as Group II WATC Karrakatta Plate winner Dig Deep.

"We believe he has a big future ahead and we want to look after him for the long term," said Bruce Slade, Newgate General Manager.

"Outside of his shareholder group there will only be a limited number of nominations available in the market for the 2019 season.

"We anticipate that Dissident and Wandjina will leave their mark in the months following our fees announcement. Both stallions have an abundance of quality stock set to hit the track over the winter and into the spring of the new season," Slade added.

Sizzling is a well priced son of champion sire Snitzel that is delivering a steady stream of winners including his first stakes-winner Secret Blaze.

"Sizzling continues to leave natural and precocious athletes. He has left Slipper runners, Oaks contenders like Sizzleme, right through to Derby contenders like Secret Blaze. He will be a great option for breeders looking to breed racehorses on a small budget," Slade said.

Offering similar value is Super One, whose first yearlings have sold exceptionally well this year for up to $300,000, so he is expected to be fully booked at the same fee as last year.

CapitalistCapitalist and Russian Revolution share top billing at $55,000.

"Capitalist and Russian Revolution have few comparative options in the market at their fees and with their profiles," Slade pointed out.

"Breeders will tell you that the Capitalist foals are amongst the best they have bred and the weanling sales will showcase this. The early interest in him for the 2019 has been staggering. Russian Revolution's first foals arrive this year and we expect him to follow Capitalist's footsteps with full books through his first four years."

Flying Artie, Extreme Choice and Winning Rupert are morving forward with their stud careers and will have yearlings at the 2020 sales.

"We have been on the road inspecting the first foals of Flying Artie, Extreme Choice and Winning Rupert and we expect them to be well sought after in both the weanling and yearling markets," Slade said.

"They will be attractive value percentage plays for the breeders playing the upside of their third season's at stud."
