Wow! what an explosive start to the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale, 11 lots made $1 million or more, with 8 stallions and nine vendors sharing in the celebrations while the average hovered around $400,000 near the close of the day.

Top price of $2.8 million was paid by James Harron Bloodstock for Corumbene Stud's stunning brother-in-blood to Menari by Snitzel out of the Gr II Magic Night Stakes winner Ichihara (General Nediym).

Aquis Farm went to $2.3 million for Segenhoe Stud's brother to Gr 1 VRC Coolmore Stud Stakes and Gr 1 Royal Ascot Diamond Jubilee Stakes winner Merchant Navy (Fastnet Rock).

Stallions that had lots make a million dollars or more were Snitzel (x3), Fastnet Rock (x2), I Am Invincible, Zoustar, Deep Impact (JPN), Not A Single Doubt, Exceed and Excel and Brazen Beau.
