close up fifth at Newcastle over 1400 metres and was tuned up for his next
outing in this 1200 metre hit out which he won in a breeze.Partnered by Brenton Avdulla, he was asked to take a sit behind the leaders and then when asked for an effort strode clear to win by six lengths under a hold.
