Not a Single Doubt Winners Impress

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday March 6
Not a Single Doubt had two interesting winners at Randwick on Wednesday with a super impressive win for exciting three year-old Classique Legend and a second victory for $1,050,000 Inglis Easter purchase Stronger.

Classique Legend as a yearlingThe top lot at the 2017 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale, the Les Bridge trained three year-old created a big impression when winning on debut at Randwick on February 20 and looked even better this time around, blitzing his rivals to win the 1250 metre Benchmark 70 event by six lengths.

Connections are thinking Black Type for his next start and while the majority of yearlings purchased by Carmel Size for Hong Kong based clients invariably find their way to Hong Kong, this one will remain in Sydney for the time being.

Classique Legend was bought for $400,000 from the Tyreel Stud draft and is the second winner from well-bred Encosta de Lago mare Pinocchio, a winning sister to Champion Miler and five time Group I winner Racing to Win.

Scoring his second win from four starts was the Peter and Paul Snowden trained two year-old Stronger, who got the verdict in the stewards room after missing out narrowly on the post in the 1100 metre juvenile event.

He was a $1,050,000 Inglis Easter purchase for James Harron Bloodstock from the Arrowfield draft and is a half-brother to stakes-placed Tiger Silk from Star Pupil, a half-sister to stakes-winners Bachman, Stepitup and Ain't no Fallenstar from Group I placed stakes-winner Ain't Seen Nothin.
