Trans Tasman Dundeel Stakes Double for Little Avondale

Graduates of Little Avondale's 2017 and 2018 Karaka Sales drafts recorded outstanding performances to win black-type events at Caulfield and Matamata respectively on Saturday.

Displaying a similar turn of foot to that possessed by their illustrious father, the emerging NZ bred stallion Dundeel; 3YO colt Global Exchange (Dundeel- Incredulous by Keep The Faith) circled the field from last at the 600m to land the (1800m) Group 2 Autumn Classic at Caulfield while 2YO Yourdeel (Dundeel-Miss Zapper by Red Ransom) sat closer to the leaders before powering away to a six length victory in the (1200m) Listed Waikato Stud Slipper.



A $130k buy from LA's Premier draft by his co-trainer Ciaron Maher, Global Exchange (Image Grant Courtney)  was prepared for the sale on behalf of his breeder and co-owner The China Horse Club.



Yourdeel (image Trish Dunnell) , a $100k purchase from LA's 2018 Karaka Book 1 draft, continues an outstanding run of success enjoyed by part owner Chris Rutten with horses the Otaki based horseman has purchased from LA.  


Per Incanto 3YO Arturo, who won impressively at Wanganui on debut recently, and Towkay 3YO Morpheus, a winner in Singapore earlier in the month were both purchased from the LA 2017 Select Sale draft for $65k and $45k respectively.
