Oliver fronts the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board on Tuesday to have his appeal heard.

He pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge aboard Redcore in the opening race at Sandown on Wednesday which resulted in the winner Esperance being crowded and Secret Reward and The Sword being checked.

Oliver said at a stewards' inquiry into the incident at the 900m mark of the race there were mitigating circumstances and said he had been used by Craig Williams on Esperance.

His suspension begins following Saturday's Caulfield meeting at which he has seven rides.

As it stands, he is free to return to race riding on September 3, a day after the Group I $1m Memsie Stakes at Caulfield.
