Classic First Season Sires - Outreach Yearlings Set to Please

Tara Madgwick - Thursday February 7
Widden Stud's young Exceed and Excel stallion Outreach had just one yearling sell in Book One at Magic Millions that made $180,000 and that small taste of better things to come looks set to bear fruit in the Inglis Classic sale ring with 14 youngsters catalogued for sale.

OutreachA full brother to Golden Slipper winner Overreach and closely related to Blue Diamond winner and successful sire Reward for Effort, Outreach had just one start finishing second to subsequent Golden Slipper winner Vancouver in the Group III ATC Canonbury Stakes.

Given his pedigree and obvious ability, breeders have been happy to take a punt on him at an affordable $7,700 fee and one look at his yearlings would suggest it was money well spent.
