Race 1 summary - SERIOUS STAR doesn't win out of turn but he is always around the mark. He looked home until late this track/dist last start. A repeat makes him hard to beat here. PRINCESS LOTTIE was impressive winning at Cessnock when resuming. She can go on with the job now. SETTLERS will appreciate the drop back to this grade. TARLEE LANE resumes. She was placed here when last fresh and has the rails draw.
Race 1 tips - 1st: SERIOUS STAR (2), 2nd: PRINCESS LOTTIE (4), 3rd: SETTLERS (1), 4th: TARLEE LANE (7).

Race 2 summary - SYRAH resumes here for a new stable after being gelded. He looks ready to go after two recent trials. The one to beat. EAGLEWORKS was nosed out at Muswellbrook last start. This looks no harder and has drawn well. Big danger. TIPSY CHOICE did enough here on debut. He will have come on from that run and gets in well after the claim. GOLDEN WORDS showed good improvement when second up off a long spell. Has claims with further improvement here.
Race 2 tips - 1st: SYRAH (5), 2nd: EAGLEWORKS (7), 3rd: TIPSY CHOICE (8), 4th: GOLDEN WORDS (2).

Race 3 summary - PENNY FLING was placed at Port Macquarie when resuming from a long spell. She will strips fitter for that and this looks no harder. ZOEASY has had a change of stables since only battling at Gosford last start. She was placed there prior and will appreciate the drop back in grade. NATURAL IMAGE was runner up on debut. She will have come on from that run and has drawn well. OH NO NOT AGAIN can bounce back here after nothing went right last start. She was placed in her two previous starts.
Race 3 tips - 1st: PENNY FLING (6), 2nd: ZOEASY (8), 3rd: NATURAL IMAGE (4), 4th: OH NO NOT AGAIN (5).

Race 4 summary - STAR FEST failed in town last start. He was close up in a much stronger race prior, this suits. NISSILE is racing very consistently this time in. Slight query at the trip but is going well enough to figure. SUGGESTAPARTNER is racing well without winning. He probably should have won last start, gets R Thompson today. ULTIMATE DECISION right in the mix.
Race 4 tips - 1st: STAR FEST (3), 2nd: NISSILE (1), 3rd: SUGGESTAPARTNER (7), 4th: ULTIMATE DECISION (6).

Race 5 summary - LUCKY STARLET was strong winning at Scone over this distance last start. Drawn well and has upside. CELTIC TRAIL gives the indication that this trip will suit. Gets her chance from the good draw. TUIVASA put it all together with an impressive win this track/dist last start. Can go on with the job now. NEAR SILENUS for the wider exotics.
Race 5 tips - 1st: LUCKY STARLET (9), 2nd: CELTIC TRAIL (8), 3rd: TUIVASA (7), 4th: NEAR SILENUS (11).

Race 6 summary - Competitive race with plenty of winning chances. DEANGELO will have gained confidence winning at Cessnock last start and can win again. SNIPONET broke through here last start. He has scope for further improvement. BONCOSTA was runner up at Coffs Harbour last start after covering ground. Drawn to get a soft run and the extra trip suits. CAPITAL MAGIC ran on strongly last start. She peaks for this and will appreciate the step up to the 1400m.
Race 6 tips - 1st: DEANGELO (2), 2nd: SNIPONET (5), 3rd: BONCOSTA (1), 4th: CAPITAL MAGIC (6).

Race 7 summary - FLEETEOR was impressive winning at Beaumont first up from a short break. She can only be further improved from that win. ALL BUT GONE has been runner up in both runs back from a spell, making up good ground from the back. Out to the 1400m suits. RANDIKI wasn't suited dropping back in distance but still manage to run on strongly. Back out to the 1400m is ideal. ANECDOTE is flying, winning two from four this preparation. Slight query on the 1400m with the big weight.
Race 7 tips - 1st: FLEETEOR (4), 2nd: ALL BUT GONE (3), 3rd: RANDIKI (5), 4th: ANECDOTE (1).

Race 8 summary - LAURENTIAN is in career best form. He was dominant leading all the way last start. Will give them something to catch here. DREAMALINA chased hard after covering ground at Coffs Harbour when resuming. Strips fitter and the extra trip suits. Watch on LYRIC resuming for a new stable. He looked good winning a recent trial. STOLEN TIME is going much better than her form reads. She gets all the favours from the rail draw.
Race 8 tips - 1st: LAURENTIAN (2), 2nd: DREAMALINA (4), 3rd: LYRIC (3), 4th: STOLEN TIME (7).
