New Stakes-Winner for Dundeel

Racking up his fourth consecutive win at Hobart on Friday in the Listed $100,000 Tasmanian Guineas was promising Dundeel three year-old The Inevitable.

DundeelPrepared by Scot Brunton, The Inevitable is unbeaten this preparation and has improved with every outing.

Sent out a hot favourite for his first attempt at 1600 metres, he cruised home to win by a length and has now won four of five starts earning nearly $120,000 in prizemoney.

A $90,000 Magic Millions Adelaide purchase for David Brunton from the Cornerstone Stud draft, The Inevitable is a half-brother to Group III winner Blahnik and stakes-winner Elysees being one of 11 winners from sensational producer Gift Bouquet, a stakes-winning daughter of Kings High.

He is the third stakes-winner for Arrowfield Stud's Dundeel, who has made good progress this season with his oldest progeny turning three.

Dundeel is proving popular at the 2019 Magic Millions with nine yearlings averaging $125,833 in the first three sessions.
