Magic Highlights for Bowness

Tara Madgwick - Monday January 7
A proven source of Group I winners including Trapeze Artist and Youngstar, Bowness Stud will offer 11 yearlings at Magic Millions including youngsters by proven and popular sires as well as young guns Pride of Dubai, Super One and Outreach.

Bowness Stud sold Youngstar wins the Queensland OaksBased at Young in New South Wales, John North's Bowness Stud sell at all the major sales in Australia and their drafts in 2016 included a High Chaparral (IRE) filly who is now the best Australian bred staying mare in the country.

A $200,000 purchase for Anton Koolman Bloodstock, Youngstar was a dominant winner of the Group I Queensland Oaks last year and confirmed her staying talent with a seventh in the Caulfield Cup and sixth in the Melbourne Cup.

Winx might be the stable star for champion trainer Chris Waller, but Youngstar is a real staying star of the future as she achieves full maturity and fulfills her true potential.

With a fine track record for producing countless winners and also serious stakes horses, Bowness is a great place to source your next champion.
