No Commission on Inglis Chairman's Sale

Media Release - Monday January 7

Australasian breeders are the big winners with a number of changes to the commission structure of Inglis Weanling and Breeding Stock Sales Series in 2019, which will include a 0% sales commission for The Chairman's Sale.

In a series of changes:

*There will be no sales commission charged on the sale of race fillies and broodmares offered through The Chairman's Sale.

*Weanlings will no longer be part of The Chairman's Sale but will instead form part of the opening session of the Australian Broodmare & Weanling Sale.

*There will be no commission charged on the balance over $100,000 for any weanling, race filly or broodmare offered through the Australian Broodmare & Weanling Sale, as well as the Great Southern Sale.

Inglis' General Manager of Bloodstock Sales, Sebastian Hutch, believes the changes will further enhance the sales series.

"The no sales commission structure for The Chairman's Sale represents a great opportunity to those with quality race fillies and breeding stock," Hutch said.

"The demand for the best Australian breeding stock, from both domestic and international investors, is essentially insatiable and there has already been a significant amount of interest expressed in the Inglis Breeding Stock Sale Series for 2019, from both vendors and buyers.

"The scheduling of both the Chairman's Sale and the Australian Broodmare and Weanling Sale is ideal for vendors, particularly in the case of pregnant mares who can be moved safely well in advance of the breeding season."

Entry forms for the respective sales will be released shortly. For more information, please contact a member of the Inglis Bloodstock Team.
