Four in a Row for Smart Missile Filly

Tara Madgwick - Thursday January 3
Promising three year-old Smart Missile filly Landela won her fourth successive race in South Africa on Wednesday when saluting at Fairview to bring a timely pedigree update for her Gold Coast bound three-quarter sister.

Trained by Alan Greeff, she scored a long neck win in the 1400 metre fillies and mares sprint and has now won four of eight starts.

A $180,000 Inglis Premier purchase for Form Bloodstock from the Gilgai Farm draft, Landela is the second winner from Follow That Cat, a half-sister by Tale of the Cat (USA) to Group I winner Driefontein.

Gilgai Farm will offer the current yearling from Follow That Cat, a filly by Hinchinbrook, as Lot 588 at the 2019 Magic Millions.
