Crystal Slipper Winner Brings Classic Update

As we head towards Christmas every vendor loves to see a timely pedigree update for their sale yearlings and Julie Harris of Holbrook Thoroughbreds has a good one for her Inglis Classic bound colt from Onecatstoomany.

Press Statement is the sire of the half-brother to Jericho MissileEarlier this month promising Smart Missile two year-old Jericho Missile opened his career with a stylish debut victory in the WATC Crystal Slipper at Ascot becoming the third winner from three foals to race from good producer Onecatstoomany.

Jericho Missile was sold by Holbrook Thoroughbreds as a weanling for $32,000 and proved a successful pinhook when being resold for $77,500 at the 2018 Magic Millions Adelaide Yearling Sale.

Jericho Missile is not the only recent winner for Onecatstoomany as her three year-old Sebring filly Seentoomany has also been successful in December scoring a dominant win at the Gold Coast last Saturday, her second victory from six starts.

Holbrook Thoroughbreds will offer the current yearling colt from Onecatstoomany by exciting first season sire Press Statement as Lot 570 at the 2019 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale.

He comes from an outstanding New Zealand family with his Group I placed grand-dam Sursum Corda being a full sister to Group I winners Champagne and St Reims. Also on the pedigree page are New Zealand Horse of the Year Bonneval and Group I winner Charmont.
