Fifth Winner for Better than Ready

Lyndhurst Stud's Better Than Ready leads Australia's first season sire list by winners adding a fifth to the tally on Wednesday with a debut victory at the Gold Coast for Well Prepared.

Better Than ReadyThe Stuart Kendrick trained colt was easy in the market, but had no trouble seeing off the favourites to win the 900 metre scamper by more than two lengths.

A $20,000 Magic Millions Gold Coast March Yearling Sale purchase for his trainer from the Oakwood Farm draft, Well Prepared is the sixth winner from General Nediym mare Sale Eve.

A brilliant son of More Than Ready (USA), Better Than Ready stands at a fee of $9,900 and has two entries in the 2019 Magic Millions.
