Early 'all-in' betting picture for the 2017 PB Lawrence Stakes

Brad Waters - Tuesday August 15

Bookies have the Darren Weir-trained Black Heart Bart and Godolphin galloper Hartnell at the top of their all-in markets on Saturday's Group II PB Lawrence Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield.

Both top picks will resume in the Lawrence Stakes but the betting agencies are divided on which of the duo should be the early favourite for the $200,000 race.

Sportsbet, William Hill and CrownBet have Black Heart Bart just ahead of Hartnell in betting while Bet365 has Hartnell as the favourite with Ladbrokes and Luxbet unable to split the pair.

Lankan Rupee is likely to miss the PB Lawrence in favour of a start in the Spring Stakes in Adelaide but remains in most markets for the Caulfield feature.

Below is a comparison of the PB Lawrence Stakes all-in markets with the final field to be declared on Wednesday morning.
