Second Stakes-winner for Von Costa De Hero

Beaten a whisker in the Golden Slipper to Sebring as a two year-old, Von Costa de Hero featured on Friday with a new stakes-winner when Von Costa Glass won the Listed Murray Bridge Gold Cup.

Von Costa de HeroA progressive galloper that has won seven of 18 starts earning over $200,000 in prizemoney, the Sue Jaensch trained Von Costa Glass won the 1600 metre contest by a three-quarters of a length.

Not offered at auction, Von Costa Glass is a half-brother to stakes-winner Have Another Glass and is from the good producer Generous Tristana.

He is the second stakes-winner for Von Costa de Hero, who stands at Riverbank Farm at a fee of $2,200.
