First US Winner for Aquis Farm

The Aquis Farm stallion parade and open day on Sunday drew a huge crowd to their picturesque Canungra base and there was good news to start the day with the first Aquis owned runner in North America saluting at Saratoga on Saturday.

MachtreeOwned by Stonestreet Stables in partnership with Aquis, the Mark Casse trained two year-old colt Machtree was able to score a determined debut win in the 1 and 1/16th mile maiden on turf.

A $450,000 Keeneland September purchase by top class Group I sire Kitten's Joy, Machtree is from Grade II placed Lady Lumberjack, a daughter of stakes-winner Harbor Blues.
