2YO TRial Winner for Charm Spirit

Media Release - Thursday August 30
The first of the new seasons 2YO trials were conducted at Te Teko on Tuesday with a colt from Charm Spirit's (Invincible Spirit) first Southern Hemisphere crop leading his trial field home for Cambridge trainer Tony Pike and owners Frontier Bloodstock.

Charm SpiritA triple Gr.1 winning miler as a 3YO, Charm Spirit is Invincible Spirit's highest earning and highest rated son at stud in Australasia and he has made an outstanding start with his first Northern hemisphere 2YO crop this year which has already produced 13 individual 2YO winners.

Recently, David Redvers, manager for Qatar Bloodstock Ltd who own Charm Spirit commented:

"Charm Spirit, has had his 13th 2YO winner already which, considering he himself would have just run in his maiden race last week in his own 2-year-old career, I think is quite something. There are an awful lot of very nice, very smart later horses on the way too".

Charm Spirit has arrived at his southern hemisphere base, Windsor Park Stud, Cambridge, where the very popular stallion will commence his fourth breeding season next month.
