Beaudesert Race Club Secure Naming Rights Partnership with Aquis

Media Release - Sunday August 19

The recently-formed partnership between the Gold Coast Turf Club and Beaudesert Racing Clubs has paid instant dividends, with Aquis joining as major naming rights partners of the Beaudesert Club.

Already the naming rights partners of the Gold Coast Turf Club and Event Centre until 2020, Aquis has extended its support of the racing industry in South East Queensland by upgrading its existing naming rights agreement to envelope the BRC.

The commercial agreement is the first time the BRC has had a naming rights sponsor and is believed to be a first for a regional racetrack in Australia.

Gold Coast Turf Club CEO Steve Lines said the agreement was a great early indicator of the benefits that both clubs will derive from the new partnership moving forward.

"This is a fabulous commercial partnership and we really think we can get Aquis Beaudesert into a great financial position with some hard work," said Lines.

"It's fantastic that Aquis continues to invest in the racing industry in South East Queensland and the club is highly anticipating the finalisation on track upgrades which will future proof racing on the Gold Coast and surrounds.

"Whilst racing in Queensland has had its challenges in recent times, it's great that the Gold Coast has been able to deliver another good news story for the industry.

"The next meeting at Aquis Beaudesert is a Family Fun Day which will be held on August 26 and we look forward to seeing as many people as possible out there".

Aquis CEO Shane McGrath said the organisation was excited to extend its relationship with the GCTC to also incorporate the BRC.

"We are proud to support the racing industry in south east Queensland and we view the Beaudesert Racing Club naming rights as a great way to continue to grow and develop our investment within Queensland," he said.

As part of the partnership, Aquis signage will be introduced at the Beaudesert Racing Club around the Winning Post and other prominent locations.
