Metro Treble for Smart Missile

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday July 25
Twin Hills Stud's Smart Missile is showing no signs of slowing up as we race towards the end of the season posting a metropolitan winning treble on Wednesday with Canterbury wins for Smart Ain't He and Smartedge and a Sandown victory for Holy Command, the trio all promising three year-olds with more wins in store.

Smart MissileThe Mick Price trained gelding Holy Command has been in hot form since resuming from a spell at the end of April following an unplaced debut in October last year.

He notched his third consecutive win when coasting home to score by a length and three-quarters over 1300 metres as favourite.

A $90,000 Inglis Classic purchase from the Eureka Stud draft for Yulong Investments is one of four winners from well bred Flying Spur mare Matinee, a sibling to Group II winner and million dollar earner Staging, the dam of Group I winners Duporth and Excites as well as Group II winner Tickets and the dam of Group I winner Delago Deluxe.

Smart Missile has had 25 winners in the past 30 days and is on track to finish with his best ever results this season, his progeny including over 110 winners of $6.5 million in prizemoney.

Standing at a fee of $13,200 at Twin Hill Stud, Smart Missile is 15thon the Australian General Sires List and is the least expensive sire in the Top 20 representing incredible value.
