Connections had a good discussion on the immediate future of Zoustyle after the win and have decided on the spelling paddock.
"I was reluctant to commit him until after we had a good talk but we got together after the race and everyone is happy to miss the spring with him and then have him back next year," Gollan said.
"He is a very promising horse and I want to do the best by him."
Zoustyle was retained to race by his breeders and is the second winner for German bred Anabaa (USA) mare Fashion (Ger), a half-sister to Group III winner Felicity, the dam of 2013 Champion German Miler Felician.
Zoustyle is one of 10 first crop winners for Widden Stud's Zoustar, the Champion Australian First Season Sire for 2017/2018. The brilliant son of Northern Meteor stands at a fee of $60,500.
