WASHINGTON HEIGHTS

$2.60

Big win at his first start back in Australia after being in Hong Kong and not racing for 14 months. Up in class, albeit slight, and yet to win beyond 1200m. There look several chances here and worth risking to us at the price on offer.

Flemington

KILIMANJARO

$3.20

Best horse in the race on his European form but yet to show it in his two Australian starts. Will be suited by the step up in trip but he goes up in weight for a one-paced last start defeat. He's favourite but meets some in-form horses and we're happy to take him on.

Doomben

HANWRITTEN

$2.45

Races well fresh and has won twice from four first-up attempts. He is a 7yo and only raced 11 times and striking a solid field here when he is eligible for weaker races. He looks plenty short enough to us.

Morphettville Parks

SUDDEN WEALTH

$3.40

Consistent mare and she does look a chance. Got back on the Parks track last start when an unlucky loser against the females, however, she has been up a long time and this looks a stronger race. Prepared to take her on in this at the current quote.

YOUNG GINA

$3.40

Won both his starts and favourite here but looks plenty short enough to us. Has got back both his starts and now fitted with blinkers. Untried on wet ground and strikes a soft track here first-up against some fit opposition. Risk.
