Anamoe breeding right among extraordinarily strong Inglis Feb (Late) catalogue

Media Release - Friday February 20

A breeding right in first season sire sensation Anamoe, multiple Stakes horses and young mares with highly desirable pregnancies are just some of the highlights of one of the strongest Inglis Digital catalogues ever assembled.

A ‘full’ February (Late) Sale is now open for bidding and consists of 523 lots – 254 racehorses (130 race fillies), 117 broodmares, 108 racehorse shares, 37 yearlings, 2 weanlings, 2 breeding rights, 2 unraced stock and 1 2YO.

A nine-time G1 winner, Anamoe’s first yearlings averaged $469,032 in Book 1 on the Gold Coast last month, the highest ever for a first season stallion at that sale.

Anamoe also joined a rare club for a first season sire, producing a seven-figure yearling among his first sale offering.

“This is one of the most appealing offerings that we have ever brought to market on Inglis Digital,” Inglis Digital Business Manager Nick Melmeth said.

“Anamoe is a young stallion that has the bloodstock market in Australia in raptures and given how few breeding rights were issued at the time of his retirement, this is a fantastic opportunity to secure access to a stallion that has all the attributes to be champion sire.”

For further information on the Anamoe breeding right, please contact Inglis Bloodstock CEO Sebastian Hutch – sebastian.hutch@inglis.com.au.

North England (Farnan), Blitzburg (Snitzel) and Manolo Bling (Grunt) are three of the most accomplished prospects to be offered online so far this year.

The 3YO colt North England (pictured) is already a winner of the $1m Golden Gift and G3 Kindergarten Stakes – both at two – and most recently contested the $3m Sunlight Plate on the Gold Coast in January.

Fellow 3YO colt Blitzburg won last year’s G3 Canonbury Stakes as a 2YO, while Manolo Bling is already a four-time winner and Stakes placed and is from the family of G1 horses Sweet Idea and Showtime.

The shares section of the catalogue is again filled with outstanding opportunities, none greater than 5% in Adelaide River – a G1 performer targeting Royal Ascot for trainer Joseph O’Brien – and Changingoftheguard, a G2 winner on a G1 Sydney Cup campaign this autumn.

The broodmare Sense of Honour (Pride of Dubai) is another appealing entry, offered in foal to emerging young stallion Home Affairs, the sire of seven Stakes horses from his first 18 runners.

There is also a 12-strong draft from Arrowfield Stud including Stakes producers and relations to Stakes winners plus mares in foal to and with foals at foot by Maurice, Castelvecchio, Admire Mars, Vandeek etc.
