Jacquinot Yearlings Continue to Please

The first yearlings by Jacquinot have been well found in the marketplace with Widden Stud’s dual Group I winner the leading first season sire by aggregate at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale this week.

Sold for $160,000 at Inglis Classic - Jacquinot colt from Head On Up.

Some 14 yearlings by Jacquinot sold for $1.24million with his top seller a colt from Head On Up that sold for $160,000 to Lindsay Park Racing / Dean Hawthorne Bloodstock, while five more of his yearlings sold for $100,000 or more.

That success follows on from Magic Millions where Jacquinot had 16 yearlings average $218,125 with a colt from Bonheur the standout when selling for $425,000 to Ciaron Maher Bloodstock/David Redvers Bloodstock.

Attention will now turn towards Inglis Premier where Jacquinot is the most represented first season sire with 19 youngsters on offer, click to see them.
