Four of those winners have emerged since the last round of declarations – Big Sky, Jacaranda, Outspan and Satin Summer – adding fresh form lines as the countdown continues.

Jacaranda, trained by Ben, Will and JD Hayes, is a notable inclusion as a half-sister by Home Affairs to 2021 Blue Diamond winner Artorius. The Hayes brothers lead trainer representation at the third declaration stage with 11 nominees ahead of Michael Freedman (seven) and Ciaron Maher (six).
Beautifully bred Written Tycoon filly Satin Summer is in the Michael Freedman line up after her sparkling debut win last Saturday at Randwick.

Several headline youngsters have fallen out at the third declaration stage, including Magic Millions 2YO Classic top five finishers Tornado Valley, By Choice and Knightsbridge.
Lumbini and Warwoven, both scratched from the Magic Millions 2YO Classic at the Gold Coast on January 17, were also not paid up for the Blue Diamond at Tuesday’s deadline.
It is also worth noting that last Saturday’s Blue Diamond Preview winners Rubi’s Choice and Alibaba were not among the original nominations and therefore do not appear in the third declarations.
Ballot exemption has been granted to both Preview winners, however connections will need to pay a $55,000 late entry fee prior to Monday, February 16 to take their place in the Blue Diamond field.
