Strong Supplementary for Great Southern

Media Release - Wednesday June 13

A strong supplementary catalogue including stallion prospect Hardham and multiple Stakes winner He Or She has taken the Great Southern Sale catalogue to 1070 Lots.

In total, 79 entries were received for the Supplementary catalogue comprising:

*17 broodmares including Jurasound (winner of over $320k in prizemoney, in foal to Nicconi), Exceed And Excite (half-sister to Group 1 winner Choice Bro, in foal to Flying Artie) and Magondo (from the black type family of Magdalena and Entisaar, in foal to Sebring)

*Two stallions, Hardham (a Redoute's Choice half-brother to King's Rose, won the G2 MVRC Alister Clark Stakes and ran 3rd in the G1 ATC Australian Derby) and Menton (an unraced son of More Than Ready from the black type family of Wandjina)

*44 racing stock including 10 from Lindsay Park, highlighted by the multiple Stakes winner He Or She, plus potential trade fillies and mares by commercial sires such as Snitzel, Redoute's Choice, High Chaparral, Sebring, Written Tycoon, So You Think and Lonhro.

The supplementary entries come on top of an already large and strong catalogue featuring the largest weanling draft in the southern hemisphere.

The weanling draft includes progeny by leading sires such as I Am Invincible, Written Tycoon, Sebring, Exceed And Excel, Lonhro, Medaglia d'Oro, Zoustar, Pierro, Fastnet Rock, Choisir, Tavistock, So You Think and Hinchinbrook and rookie sires including Vancouver, Pride of Dubai, Dissident, Brazen Beau, Toronado, Kermadec, Trust In A Gust, Press Statement, Nostradamus, Rubick and Night of Thunder.
