Hot Lots Day Three – Magic Millions

With Extreme Choice having seven sold through the ring so far averaging $840,000 highlighted by a sales equalling top price of $2m for Kingstar Farm’s colt, the Newgate Farm based stallion only has three to sell on Thursday, which could see Snitzel or I Am Invincible hit the lead on averages.

With 14 yearlings having sold at an average of just over $400,000, Anamoe leads the first season sire ranks, and with a further five to sell on Thursday, it will be interesting to see if that trend continues.

Lot 455: I Am Invincible x Lankan Star filly – Segenhoe Stud

I Am Invincible filly, second foal of the G1 Blue Diamond runner-up Lankan Star. Nicconi mares have produced seven stakes winners including Magic Time (Hellbent) – a very similar cross to this filly.

Lot 465: Snitzel x Levante filly – Arrowfield Stud

First foal of the three-time G1-winning Proisir mare Levante, the 2021 New Zealand Champion Sprinter/Miler. The daughter of Snitzel is out of the half-sister to the stakes placed dams of Listed winner Sophmaze and the G1-winning, Champion NZ 2YO Maven Belle.

Lot 469: Anamoe x Libre A Vous colt – Blue Gum Farm

Anamoe half-sister to the G2 Silver Shadow third placed Queen of Clubs, out of the imported Redoute’s Choice half-sister to G1 winner French Fifteen. Interestingly this colt is bred on a similar cross to that of his nine-time G1-winning sire Anamoe.

Lot 481: Frankel x Lolloping filly – Three Bridges Thoroughbreds

One of just three Frankel fillies in the sale, she is the first foal of the imported American War Front mare Lolloping, herself a daughter of the New Zealand Champion Sprinter and G1 winner Bounding, a half-sister to the G1 winner Anthony Van Dyck.

Lot 500: Anamoe x Luqyaa colt – Milburn Creek

A son of Horse of the Year Anamoe, this colt is the fourth foal of the multiple stakes placed Exceed And Excel mare Luqyaa dam of the G3-winning, G1 placed Tannhauser and nine-time winner Liqour.

Lot 504: Snitzel x Madame Andree filly – Arrowfield Stud

Exciting pedigree on the move, the daughter of Snitzel is three-quarter to G3 winner Anders and Listed winner Ostraka, while she’s a full sister to the extremely exciting, last start Listed Gosford Guineas winner Caffe Florian, a winner of three from four. This filly is also a half-sister to the dam of G3 Pago Pago Stakes winner Skyhook.

Lot 528: Zoustar x Medaglia Valore colt – Baramul Stud

Son of Champion Sire Zoustar, this colt is a half-brother to the stakes placed Flashing Steel and Snitzel Miss, out of the Medaglia d’Oro half-sister to the dam of dual G3 winner Espionage, family of G2 and Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Military Rose.

Lot 544: Stay Inside x Mischief Night colt – Kingstar Farm

Colt by G1 Golden Slipper Stay Inside out of the Shamardal mare Mischief Night, a half-sister to G1 winner and promising young sire Pierata. Mischief Night’s three winners include G1 Blue Diamond Stakes winner Devil Night (Extreme Choice) and the dual G3 winner Our Playboy.

Lot 552: Extreme Choice x Miss Exfactor colt – Newgate Farm

One of just two more colts to sell by Extreme Choice in the sale, he’s the third foal out of the G3 winner Miss Exfactor, a half-sister to the G2-winning, G1 fourth placed Boogie Dancer.

Lot 561: Wootton Bassett x Miss Que colt – Coolmore Stud

Son of Wootton Bassett, the colt is the third foal of the G3 placed Fastnet Rock mare Miss Que, a sister to G2 winner Cluster. Bred on the same cross that has produced 14 winners from 21 runners led by G3 winner Napoleonic.

Lot 563: Snitzel x Miss Sharapova colt – Arrowfield Stud

Three-quarter-brother to G2 winner Doubtland and Listed winner Pretty Fast, all out of the stakes placed Miss Sharapova, a half-sister to the G2 winner Villa Verde, in turn the dam of the G3-winning, G1 placed My Galdiola.

Lot 575: I Am Invincible x Modern Wonder colt – Kia Ora Stud

Full-brother to the stakes placed juvenile Innervisions, out of the Listed-winning Snitzel mare Modern Wonder, a full-sister to $3.7m earner Away Game - a five-time black type winner highlighted by the Magic Millions 2YO Classic.

Lot 593: I Am Invincible x Mumbai Rock filly – Coolmore Stud

Full-sister to the Listed winning Jazz Etude and the G3 placed Mumbai Jewel as well as a half-sister to the G3 winner Mumbai Muse and the Listed placed Splendoronthegrass. Bred on the same I Am Invincible x Fastnet Rock pedigree cross which has produced 17 stakes performers led by G2 winner Airman.

Lot 604: I Am Invincible x Never Talk filly – Yarraman Park

First foal, a filly by I Am Invincible out of the six-time-winning, multiple stakes placed No Nay Never mare Never Talk, a half-sister to G2 winner Shuffle Dancer, family of this season’s G2 Danehill Stakes winner McGaw.

Lot 617: I Am Invincible x Noondie colt – Yarraman Park

Full brother to ‘Australia’s best maiden’ Sylph, twice stakes placed and a last start third in the $3m Sunlight Classic, the I Am Invincible colt is also a half to G1 winner Booker (dam of the stakes placed I Am Invincible filly Ernaux) and the Listed winner Banquo. Bred on outstanding cross that has produced 30 winners from 34 runners led by dual G1 winner Home Affairs.

Lot 622: I Am Invincible x Norwegian Bliss colt – Baramul Stud

First foal of the G3 placed El Roca mare Norwegian Bliss, the son of Champion Sire I Am Invincible is from the extended family of G1 winners Shogun Lodge, Referral and Singing The Blues. Bred on the same I Am Invincible x Encosta de Lago cross as Champion and ten-time G1 winner Imperatriz.

Lot 632: I Am Invincible x Odeum colt – Yarraman

Second foal of the G1 Thousand Guineas winner Odeum, a half-sister to the Listed winner Goodfella from the family of G1 Lighting Stakes winner and $3.7m earner Gytrash. Full-brother, 2yo colt named Air Of Solace sold for $700,000 at 2025 MM.

Lot 650: The Autumn Sun x Pacific Dragon filly – Tyreel Stud

By The Autumn Sun, the sire of five G1 winners (four are fillies), Lot 650 is the first foal of the Listed-winning, G2 placed Charm Spirit mare Pacific Dragon, a half-sister to the G1 placed Sweltering from the family of G1 winner Summer Passage and G2 winners Shania Dane and Man From Uncle.

Lot 666: Extreme Choice x Penang colt – The Chase

The final Extreme Choice yearling in the sale, this colt is the third foal out of the I Am Invincible mare Penang, whose two foals to race are both winners. I Am Invincible is broodmare sire of G1 winners Asfoora and Kimochi.
