2026 Magic Millions Order of Entry 2YO and 3YO Updated

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday December 16

Racing Queensland have today released order of entry updates for the rich $3million Magic Millions 2YO Classic and 3YO Guineas to be run at the Gold Coast on January 17 with the top two juvenile contenders both by Too Darn Hot (GB).

The Darley shuttler by Dubawi returned to the Hunter Valley this spring in a blaze of glory to stand at a fee of $275,000 alongside his champion son Broadsiding and here we are at the end of the year and it’s not hard to see why breeders were so glad to have Too Darn Hot back in Australia.

Spring stakes-winners Tornado Valley and Shiki head the list for the 2YO race and both have trialled impressively in recent weeks.

The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained Shiki has won both of her trials this prep after taking out the Group III ATC Gimcrack Stakes on debut and the Ciaron Maher trained Tornado Valley looked good in a trial at Hawkesbury on Monday morning.

He had two starts in Melbourne in the spring for a debut third and then a win in the Group III VRC Maribyrnong Plate.

The big banger on the list for the 3YO Guineas is undoubtedly high class colt Cool Archie, who has not raced since winning the Group I BRC JJ Atkins Stakes during the winter.

The Chris and Corey Munce trained son of Cool Aza Beel looked good in a trial at Ipswich last week as he prepares to return to racing this Saturday in the Listed BRC Gold Edition Plate (1200m) at Eagle Farm.
