Brave Monarch a Timely Reminder

Tara Madgwick - Sunday November 23

Brave Smash (Jpn) 3YO Brave Monarch posted his third successive win from just four starts at the Sunshine Coast on Saturday for the Chris and Corey Munce stable offering a timely reminder as to the merits of his sire whose first Yarraman Park conceived offspring will be headed to yearling sales in 2026.

Brave Monarch broke his maiden at his second start at Doomben on October 15 then scored at Eagle Farm over 1400m earlier this month.

Starting favourite in the $105,000 Stanley River Thoroughbreds 3YO Quality (1400m), he produced another stylish effort to win by half a length under Martin Harley.

A $20,000 Inglis Classic purchase for Hancox Bloodstock from the Yulong draft, Brave Monarch has proven a terrific investment for his big ownership group banking $192,500 with three wins from four starts!

Well bought! Brave Monarch was a $20,000 Inglis Classic purchase.

Bred by Yulong, he is one of four winners from Puppet Queen (USA), an unraced half-sister by Kingmambo to Group I winners Vengeance of Rain and Dizelle from Group I winner Danelagh.

Brave Monarch is one of 15 winners this season for Brave Smash that include a new stakes horse in Brave Danza.
