ShamexpressWindsor Park's freshman ShamExpress sired his fifth first crop winner and second in as many days when Embrace Me gave a brilliant front running display at Werribee today.

The daughter of ShamExpress is trained by Danny O'Brien, who also trained her Group One winning sire. Embrace Me was a $90,000 purchase from the 2017 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale by Blue Sky Bloodstock for owner Mark Sowerby of Sowerby Racing.

ShamExpress, the fastest son of champion sire O'Reilly, is really starting to make a name for himself with his first-crop 2YO's and is currently the leading first season sire in NZ. The exciting young sire has a raft of promising gallopers throughout Australasia.

The win of Embrace Me came hot on the heels of another brilliant front running display by Qiji Express at Hastings yesterday for leading trainers Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman.
