Blueblood Taste of Heaven Set for Magic Millions Digital Sale

Media Release - Sunday October 19

One of the country's best bred broodmares, who is also a proven stakes producer, is one of the early highlights for the upcoming first Magic Millions Digital Sale.

Taste of Heaven, a half sister to three Group One winners including champion sire Redoute's Choice, will present an incredible opportunity for breeders looking for a blueblood with a proven produce record.

The Encosta de Lago mare, who is also a sister to Manhattan Rain and half sister to Platinum Scissors, is from the blue hen Shantha's Choice.

Taste of Heaven is in foal to Home Affairs.

Taste of Heaven will be offered after a spring cover to Coolmore Stud's exciting young sire Home Affairs.

Before returning to Australia after kicking away her stud career in the United States, Taste of Heaven produced the G3 Maple Leaf Stakes winner Heavenly Curlin.

Heavenly Curlin produced a seven figure yearling this year at the sales, while another of Taste of Heaven's daughters Heavenly Conquest is a last start city winner.

The mare is being offered through the Yarraman Park Stud draft and she should prove popular as an elite breeding prospect.

"She is from arguably the best family in the Stud Book that consistently produces on the racetrack and the sales ring," Yarraman's Matt Scown said.

"We really like the I Am Invincible filly that is heading to the Gold Coast in January. Coupled with the fact she is carrying a pregnancy to Home Affairs, she offers plenty of upside for prospective buyers."

Entries for the first Magic Millions Digital Sale close at 12pm (QLD time) on Wednesday.

"It is a great endorsement for the platform to have a broodmare the calibre of Taste of Heaven entered in our first sale," Magic Millions Head of Digital Bryce Bevan said.

"We are very excited to publish our first catalogue on Friday," he added.
