Second Winner for Stay Inside

Tara Madgwick - Saturday October 11

Fresh from siring Incognito to win the Group III ATC Breeders Plate last week, Golden Slipper winner Stay Inside has wasted no time posting his second winner with Inhabit saluting as favourite in the $65,000 Moorundi Classic (900m) at Murray Bridge on Saturday.

Trained by Michael Hickmott and ridden by Todd Pannell, Inhabit was an impressive trial winner at the same track earlier this month and brought that good form to race day.

She bounced straight to the front from her wide gate and led all the way to score by a length over Blandford Baron, who finished off well and is a son of another first season sire in Extreme Warrior.

Inhabit was a $200,000 Magic Millions purchase.

A $200,000 Magic Millions purchase from Segenhoe stud for her trainer, Inhabit is a half-sister to stakes-placed Kujenga and is the second foal and second winner from Jenga, a winning half-sister by All Too Hard to stakes-winner Granny Red Shoes from stakes-winner Shoboard.

Jenga has no yearling for the sales next year after missing to Capitalist and was covered by him again last spring.

A son of outstanding sire Extreme Choice, Stay Inside has been extremely popular with breeders covering 519 mares in his first three seasons and is priced this spring at $66,000.
