Victorian farm Lovatsville offer a diverse stallion roster for this spring geared to satisfy a wide spectrum of breeder ambitions and if explosive Aussie speed is your thing then Snitzel stallion Generation will fit the bill.

Generation stands at a fee of $11,000, click for more info.

An unbeaten juvenile that trained on to score multiple Group wins for the Ciaron Maher stable, Generation was competitive in G1 company and comes from a female family steeped in Victorian speed.

His dam Fontiton won the Group II MRC Blue Diamond Prelude and her dam Personal Ensign was a stakes-winning daughter of Century’s Cox Plate winning son Rubiton, one of the best stallions ever bred in Victoria.

Breeders are liking what they are seeing from Generation’s first foals with the three below all born at Seymour Park.

Generation filly from Free and Clear.

Generation filly from Starianne.

Brian Byrnes, General Manager of Seymour Park and a partner in Lovatsville, has been impressed with this trio and particularly the filly from Group I winning Written Tycoon mare Tycoon Tara.

“The filly is a beautiful type. A really good quality foal and I couldn’t be happier,” said Byrnes.

“She’s very strong, with a good hindquarter, and great balance. This is a very nice style of foal and Tycoon Tara will go back to Generation based purely on this foal.”
