While Monday’s official two year-old trials at Randwick are always interesting as a first look at the babies showing early talent, there’s been a number trial around Australia already this season.

First season sire Extreme Warrior had a winner at Murray Bridge on Thursday while Tiger Of Malay has a third placegetter, albeit in a Belmont 400m heat.

Lady Of Five

Lady Of Five (Hanseatic) caught the eye winning by an unrealistic 11 lengths at Doomben on August 26, but did run the fastest time of the three heats over the distance on the day.

Likewise Dream Roca (El Roca) at the Sunshine Coast on Tuesday from the proven two-year-old producing stable of Liam Birchley.
