Champion trainer Chris Waller is set to have wo runners in this year’s $20million The Everest with Joliestar confirmed for the stable’s own race slot while her stablemate Lady Shenandoah was announced today as the runner for Fairway Thoroughbreds.
"We are thrilled to see Lady Shenandoah gain a spot in this year's Everest," Hermitage's Shannon Clarke said in a statement.
"It's a race that captures the imagination of the racing world, and to be represented by a mare of her calibre is a great honour.
"We're also incredibly grateful to Fairway Thoroughbreds for their support and confidence in Lady Shenandoah.''
Fairway Thoroughbreds were left without a runner this year when their high class mare Sunshine in Paris was retired due to injury and the six year-old was reportedly covered by Wootton Bassett (GB) last weekend.
